There is a big difference betweenprivate living and a hotel stay. We give this unclear area of space and time a predictable and reliable form.

The apartments are very flexible and efficient studio apartments. The floor plan and furnishing typology strive for a high degree of flexibility and neutrality – away from rigid hotel principles or over-decorated formalism and thus deliberately designed for a wide range of residents.

BUILDING AND LOCATION

The Board Inn was originally an office building. In 2022, the building was repurposed as a boarding house and extensively renovated.

It is located in a mixed urban development area. The building shares the site with a rehearsal hall of the Regensburg Municipal Theater and an office wing of a local company.
